Ruby Red swiss chard is sweet and tender. Attractive, bright red stalks with red-veined dark green, crinkly leaves. Cook the stalks like asparagus and the leaves like spinach. You can pick at 30 days for baby leaves and 60 days for mature leaves. Delicious in salads, quiche or steamed with butter.

How to Plant your Seed Pod

Place seed pod in basket

Ensure that you press the rockwool cube to the bottom of the basket so it touches the wick (white string).

Submerge seed pod in water

Fully submerge your seed pod in a bowl of warm water to jump start germination.

Place basket in garden

Once the seed pod absorbed the water, place it in your garden.
