Why Hydrogarden
Our Story
Born from a passion for gardening and sustainability, HydroGarden was created to bring the benefits of hydroponic gardening to the home. All gardens are handmade using real wood in Montreal, giving each garden its own uniqueness.
The wood used to build the gardens comes from forests that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) meaning that the forests are sustainably managed, which helps preserve the various ecosystems.

Grow Using Less Water
With a closed loop system, HydroGardens require up to 95% less water compared to conventional farming where most of the water used to spray the fields seeps deep into the ground, far beyond the reach of the plant's roots. With our gardens, you only need to fill up the reservoir, add the. nutrtients and watch your plants grow!
Lower Your Carbon Footprint
Not only does your HydroGarden consume less water, but by growing your own produce, you drastically reduce the emissions caused by transportation of the fresh produce and substantially diminish the time from harvest to consumption. Growing your own produce also helps reduce waste since you only harvest what you need and no packaging is involved.

By harvesting when the fruits and vegetables are ripe and not 2-weeks before hand so they survive their long transportation journey, the nutrient density of your foods will be much greater!
